Taking Over the World

I wanted to make a difference
To gain myself glory and fame
I plotted and I schemed
Even though it all seemed insane

Then I took over the world
All of the power was mine

So that peace on earth would come
Though I had all of the world's resources
It couldn't be done

Everyone said they would help
But their selfishness got in the way
They were not content with their blessings
For the joy to stay
