Party?

A great party at the end of the term
Full of laughter and dancing
And being with friends
But as this party and dancing wore on
I was worn away
Slush

Tired and restless - these were not the problem
of slowly fading from everything
everyone
Not able to enjoy

Should I have danced?
More laughing less sighing
But I'm not looking for reasons why I should dance
I'm looking for a reason to want to dance
